Our privacy principle

Need to know.
Not nice to have.

We aim to collect only the information reasonably required to provide the service you choose, meet legal or regulatory obligations, protect clients and operate our business securely.

Financial documents such as CAS files, bank statements, KYC records, tax documents, loan papers and portfolio information are treated as confidential and should be accessed only by authorised persons or service providers who need them for the relevant purpose.

Data should help deliver the service. It should not become the product.

This Policy applies where AR Enterprises determines how and why personal data is processed through The Financial Concierge website, forms, calculators, communications, client interactions and services.

2. What we may collect

Depending on the service, we may collect:

  • name, phone number, email, address and other contact details;
  • PAN, KYC information, tax or residency information and identification details where required;
  • financial holdings, transactions, bank-related information, goals, risk information and documents you choose to share;
  • information contained in CAS files, statements, loan or investment records;
  • communications with us and information submitted through website forms, calculators or conversations; and
  • basic technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, cookies and website usage data where used.

We may also receive information from authorised or regulated sources such as KYC agencies, AMCs, RTAs, banks, lenders and service providers where permitted by law or authorised by you.

3. Why we use it

We may use personal data to respond to enquiries; understand your financial situation; provide analysis or support; facilitate transactions or applications you request; complete KYC or regulatory processes; maintain records; prevent fraud or misuse; comply with legal, tax, regulatory or audit requirements; operate and secure our systems; and improve the services you use.

Marketing or promotional communication will be undertaken only in accordance with applicable law and available consent or opt-out choices.

4. Consent & lawful use

Where consent is the basis for processing, we will seek consent for the stated purpose. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal, regulatory, contractual and record-retention requirements. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out and may prevent us from continuing a service that requires the relevant information.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared, on a need-to-know basis, with parties involved in providing or supporting the relevant service, including AMCs, RTAs, KYC / CKYC agencies, banks, payment or transaction partners, lenders, technology / cloud / CRM / SaaS providers, auditors, professional advisers and other authorised service providers.

We may also disclose information where required by law, a court, regulator or governmental authority, or where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect clients or protect legal rights. Where appropriate, service providers handling personal data on our behalf are expected to maintain confidentiality and appropriate security safeguards.

6. Security

AR Enterprises uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the services being provided. These may include access controls, secure systems, confidentiality obligations, vendor due diligence, backups, monitoring and incident-response procedures.

No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please never send us passwords, PINs, CVVs, OTPs or other authentication credentials.

7. Retention & deletion

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide the service, maintain transaction or business records, resolve disputes and comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to mandatory retention obligations and technical limitations of backup or third-party systems.

8. Your rights & choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or information about personal data we hold about you, correction or updating of inaccurate data, erasure where retention is no longer required, withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis of processing, and grievance redressal.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may retain information where required by financial-services, tax, anti-money-laundering, contractual or other legal obligations.

9. Cookies & analytics

The public website may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for functionality and security, and limited analytics to understand website performance and usage. If non-essential advertising or tracking technologies are introduced, appropriate notice and choices should be provided as required by applicable law.

10. Third-party platforms

TFC may use or link to third-party websites, portals, WhatsApp, SaaS platforms, cloud services or transaction systems. Those services may process personal data under their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage users to review those policies before providing information directly to a third party.

11. Cross-border processing

Some technology or service providers may process or host data outside India. Where this occurs, we will seek to use providers and arrangements that are appropriate for the nature of the data and consistent with applicable law and contractual obligations.

12. Children

Our services are not intended to be independently used by children. Where information relating to a minor is required for a legitimate financial-service purpose, it should be provided and handled through the parent, legal guardian or other person authorised under applicable law.

13. Data incidents

If we become aware of a personal-data breach or security incident, we will assess the incident, take reasonable containment and remediation steps, and make notifications where required by applicable law or regulation.
